Christmas Charity Fundraiser

Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th December

Our favourite festive tradition returns as we raise money for Hackney Night Shelter with four days of fundraising, feasting and good beer.

The charity raffle will run daily from opening until closing, 11th to 14th December, with a huge range of prizes from merch to beers from all your favourite breweries.

– Selected pours will contribute to the fundraising
– Plenty of the classic meats and cheeses that you know and love
– Ugly Christmas jumpers encouraged. The worse, the better.

This is always one of the best times of the year at the Tap. Come down for a drink, support a local cause and help us raise as much as we can for Hackney Night Shelter.

OMNIPOLLO NYE TAP TAKEOVER

This New Years Eve, we’re thrilled to welcome Omnipollo — the legendary Swedish brewery known for its boundary-pushing, genre-defying beers. From decadent pastry stouts to juicy IPAs and wildly creative sours, Omnipollo redefines what beer can be with every pour.

Expect bold flavors, unexpected ingredients, and some of the most visually striking beers you’ll ever experience. Perfect for those looking to explore the strange and the sublime side of brewing.

BAR TRASH FILM NIGHTS

Hosted by cult film fanatic Token Homo and friends, we are stupidly happy to announce the next season of Bar Trash will be SYNTHETIC FLESH!, a tribute to more than 100 years of monster makeup FX.

Showcasing more than 30 prosthetic pioneers, SYNTHETIC FLESH! features makeup from Hollywood’s early innovators to the 1980s’ FX riot of rubber, and beyond. The film programme embraces fan favourites, dime store monstrosities, awards-worthy creations, and rarely-screened world cinema gems

In numbers, SYNTHETIC FLESH! will feature 26 films across 3 venues and 3 bloody months. And because we firmly believe gathering in the darkness can do some good , we’ll also have 2 epic fundraisers (for trans+ legal rights and World AIDS Day) at Genesis Cinema and Beer Merchants Tap.
