Belgian Beer Fest
May 22-26
This Spring Bank Holiday, we’re going full Belg.
Belgium has one of the oldest and strongest brewing traditions in the world. For such a small nation it is the origin of endless styles and brewing processes imitated the world over. It is rightly considered as the top brewing country on the planet and we’re down for celebrating it!
Multiple Belgian beers on tap. We’ll be covering a range of styles on draught and will have countless more chilling in our fridges; so, whether you’re into crisp blondes, tart lambics, or rich Dubbels, we’ve got something for you.
New Cantillon bottles available. Super limited. Super special. First come, first served. Drink-in only.
New dishes from our food vendor! Think bold, beer-friendly bites with a Belgian twist—perfect to fill your stomach before your next pour.
Cheese. These Belgian monk’s do more than brew beer – they also make cheese! We will be adding Trappist Cheese’s to our deli for the weekend – an opportunity to sample this classic food and drink pairing.
Monday Double Bill: JCVD VHS Film Night!
The Muscles from Brussels himself, Jean Claude Van Damme, stars in back-to-back masterpieces, Cyborg (1989) and Timecop (1994). Think splits, kicks, and cult classics on the big screen. This is a ticketed event hosted by the Bar Trash host, Token Homo – get your tickets before they’re all sold out!
Drink beer, do good: To celebrate the start of Token Homo’s next film season with us we’re raising money with every pint sold of our Belgian pilsner, The Muscles from Brussels. The money raised will go to Switchboard LGBT Helpline. Switchboard has been equipping the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies with information and support through all the crises, celebrations and changing attitudes.

OMNIPOLLO SHOWCASE
May 29 – June 1
Here we go—our next showcase from the one and only Omnipollo.
We’ve got the latest exciting range from this incredible brewery hitting our taps and fridges. Pouring from Thursday we will also be continuing with our special pours! Trialled on our last showcase these were so overwhelmingly popular they are going to be a feature of every Omnipollo Showcase. We take an outstanding Omnipollo beer and level it up – think beer with actual marshmallows, doughnuts, with bits set on fire and put through a slushie machine. Easy enough to imagine …
We don’t want to keep you in suspense so here are the beers:
We have a brand new BA Imperial Stout with Moksa, All The Vanilla, which is conditioned on an obscene amount of vanilla beans from six different countries. A crushable Italian American Lager with Birrificio Italiano, Flow. For you hop heads, we’ve also got their latest collab with Brujos, The Middle, the latest in the fruited TIPA series with Fiden, Paradis Mango, a brand new sessionable version of their flagship West Coast IPA, Nebuchadnezzar Junior and collaborations with the likes of Weldwerks with the latest Freaky Friday beer available from the Church, Juicy Bits. Plus, there is a new Bianca Out Of Order Blueberry Ice Cream LassI Gose, which is a collab with RAR Brewing, a new Ice Cream Sour, God’s Blueberry.
That’s not all folks, we’ve got an abundance of Pales, IPAs, Fruited Sours, Lagers, Pecan Mudcake Imperial Stouts, and all the Omnipollo classics you all know and love.
People Watching Newcastle: Wylam & Donzoko Tap Takeover
5 – 8 June
For Sam Fender’s first stadium headline gig outside of Newcastle, we’re bringing a little bit of Newcastle to London.
Donzoko Brewing Company are one of several young breweries having set up in the last few years with an aim to fulfill a niche sorely lacking in the UK craft scene – in this case mostly German inspired lager. North-eastern heritage remains important—it’s something channelled through Donzoko’s beers. Both these aspects our reflected through their core beer, Northern Helles.
On the flip side we have Wylam, Newcastle’s gem for authentic ales, they have evolved over 20 years from a pure cask brewer into one of the leading lights of the British craft beer scene. Signature IPA Jakehead is no doubt a part of this, combining an old-world malt bill with a new-world hop profile to delight traditional drinkers and craft beer fans alike.

BAR TRASH celebrates our 3rd year and 10th sensational season with WE ARE TRASH!, a fan-made mixtape of cult and chaotic cinema (May to Aug 2025).
